The Art of "Raoul DuBois"
This is the wacky world of "Raoul DuBois." "Raoul" came into existence in the 60's
He is the artistic alter-ego of Pat Maphis. One of his greatest influences has been
the late Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, the creator of "Rat Fink." Another is the man acknowledged
with creating the hot rod paint art form know as "pinstriping." His name is
Kenneth "von Dutch" Howard. The "flying eyeball" icon is attributed to him.
These two gentlemen are considered the founding
fathers of the "Kustom Kulture." My efforts are dedicated to their memory..................

I attempted to recreate a Dogtown/Bulldog Skates design on the bottom. This is a gift for Wes Humpston, founder and artist for Dogtown /Bulldog Skates. He has given so much to the skateboard art form that I wanted to give him a "little" something back....... Thanks Wes!
